I realize I already posted today but this is a very special day!! Miss Tinsley Lou is one today! For those who do not know, Tinsley's hott mama is my wonderful cousin, Jennie! (Also a bridesmaid in the wedding). Now! I just have to finally pick between the almost 13 different outfits to send the little princess for her big day! They should be there by her party, which I wish we could make- but since they live in Atlanta I think just a gift will suffice!
Happy Birthday Tinsley!! Can't wait to see all of you soon!!

VEGAS HERE WE COME!!
In honor of being engaged for one whole year (seems longer!) and to celebrate my 21st birthday, Tyler and I will be venturing to Las Vegas over New Years! I have never been to Vegas, why would I go if I'm not 21?! BORING! So since I turn the big 2-1 in 48 days...but who's counting?...Tyler is treating me to a special trip! Coming along to witness my Veg-inity..clever I know..is the one and only Trent Hall! We are staying at Planet Hollywood and hopefully before we leave I will be a pro gambler and win us enough money to have a 3 week honeymoon and possibly hire a butler to carry me around when we return. Cross you're fingers people, it has to happen to somebody! Why not me!?
So, since you are all updated on my newest news, I'll now inform you of how Tyler proposed!
December 31, 2010 - I spent the day at home, it was freezing out and I honestly didn't even want to go to a New Years Eve party- let alone one that I had to dress up for. At roughly 7:30 I decided I'd get ready, I showered, did my makeup and had Abby curling my hair (because I sure as heck can't do it myself!) Tyler walked into Mom and Dad's rooom, where we ALWAYS get ready, and asked where the gel was. I told him it was upstairs under the sink with the other hair products. Of course, being a man, he 'couldn't find it anywhere' so off I went, hiking upstairs to find him hair gel.
Once the gel was found I couldn't figure out why he was pushing me into my childhood bedroom, I needed to get ready, everyone was showing up soon to go to dinner, I was in a tank and zebra shorts! I didn't have time for this! He sat me on my bed and simply said "I promise to forever make you happy and never do you wrong" then presented me with an absolutely beautiful ring! I was kind of taken back at first, yes we had talked about marriage and the future but I surely didn't think it would happen that night! I took off running down stairs, after quickly saying yes and rewarding him with a quick peck on the cheek to go tell my family! Mom already new, she picked up the ring from the jewelers, Abby already new, she was in the room when Tyler came to find the ring under my mom's matress, and of course Dad new because Tyler had asked his permission 3 weeks earlier. :) He's a big shweetie, ain't he!
So now that our Vegas trip is booked we need to start looking for some honeymoon ideas! Any opinions- and or - shared information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!

The Real Story...
Now I'm sure most of you think I just picked Tyler out of a fashion magazine and said, "That is the man I'm going to marry!" Well, you're close!! Here's The Real Story in a timeline fashion:
December 2006 : Tyler and I met at Hoosier Beef Congress in Indianapolis, for those of you who don't know what that is, it is a "cattle show" or in our minds it was a weekend with no parents and an endless supply of...beverages. Tyler and his crew were there, looking fine as ever, of course. I took it upon myself to make friends and we ended up staying at the same hotel and visiting into the night and pretty much into the next morning. Tyler being the old man he is, saw me as the 15 year old girl I was. So the story continues. Flash forward 1 year.
October 2007 : Abby, being the wonderful sister she is decided to take me to a Halloween party to be her designated driver. Smart right? Not so much, I ended up coming down with an illness that night - the love bug. That's right Sir Tyler Musser was at this party and oh how I was in love. His badboy attitdue, my Daisy Duke costume. It was perfect, until he found out I was still just a baby. Then he left, leaving me heart broken and alone, on the drive home while confiding in my best friend she told me "Chelsea he is way to old for you. It will never work. Just date someone in high school." To which I replied, "I'm going to marry him! You watch.." And then I fell asleep and can't really tell you what else happened.
Two years later...
April 2009 : After dating somone for 1.5 years, I decided it was time to find myself, live up the college life and make some memories! Who would have thought that I would actually end up meeting (again) the love of my life. A lonely night in my dorm led to me meeting a girlfriend in the boondocks and driving around all night to get my mind off it. The next night I went out with this same girl..but to a house. A house that was occupied by...wait for it...the Musser Boys. Oh the feelings came rushing back - but we made it clear we were not in the market for a relationship. Instead, we hung out every day. He took me to concerts, parties, our first "date" was McDonalds, and countless hours of driving around talking and singing to the radio.
After two months of being inseperable Tyler asked me to go to a wedding as his date, I was shocked! This was a big step for us and I was super nervous, the wedding was outside of Indy and I decided I wasn't going to go. OR SO I TOLD HIM! I ended up riding to the wedding with a friend of mine and when I got there I was greeted with a big kiss in front of everyone. 3 hours later, Tyler's friend Matt asked Tyler in front of me, "Are you gonna date this girl or what?" The rest is history!
I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! Go Boilers!!

Me? Procrastinate? No....
Hello all! Since this is my first post and all I thought I would update everyone on the progress of Tyler and I's big day! The date is set, the festivites will take place June 9, 2012! The ceremony is being held at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Reynolds- calm down everyone it is NOT a mass...so I don't want any excuses not to come! :) We will then continue our day at University Inn- book your rooms while you can! I'm sure it will be the most amazing wedding West Lafayette has ever seen, some are comparing it to the Royal Wedding but I just laugh and say "what is there to compare?" We totally have it in the bag! I have picked out my dress, have yet to order it, but come on...did you read the title of this post? The bridesmaids dresses are picked out and my five wonderful attendents (who will be listed at the end) just need to get fitted at a David's Bridal near you. The groomsmen will be wearing tan tuxes- not jackets, just vests. But it's not as much fun to hear about the men so back to me! Our colors are turqouise and lime green, very bright and vibrant, like myself. And really that's all I have done so far...no worries, I still have 8 months!
I have been trying to get something for the wedding done each week this month, so far we have picked the MOH&BM dresses and well that's it. UGH! But, yesterday I did speak with one photographer- 721 Photography (absolutely AMAZING!) and got her prices and all that jazz. Today I called Christine's Photography (also BEAUTIFUL pictures!!) who is also a very good family friend and spoke with her about D-Day or shall I say W-Day ;) Now to just make a decision. This is probably be the hardest one of the whole process until we go to pick out the food.
Of course I already have a florist, lifelong family friend- Sandy Kenyon of Ivy & Violets in Brookston, IN. Let me tell ya people, the woman is amazing! We will also be ordering our invitations through her as well, she's a woman of all trades! And if anyone is wondering, which if you are we have some real problems, Abby will be doing my hair and Mom will be applying my makeup on W-Day. All the bridesmaids will be getting pampered and sipping on champagne at the beauty shop the morning of then the show really starts!
OK this is getting long so to finish up I will reveal the names of my 5 bridesmaids in order of appearance!
Abby Clark- Maid of Honor (sister of bride(Me)
Jackie Lantrip- Cousin of Bride from Ohio
Jennie McCollum- Cousin of Bride from Atlanta
Sarah Bailey- Cousin of Bride from Atlanta
Carrie Clark- Sister-in-law of bride
Have a great day Everyone!!!
